Warning From Avista Utilities

Avista Utilities sent a phone notification warning residents in our area of possible outages. They stated that due to the hot, dry weather conditions and the wind in our area’s forecast, they expect to change the sensitivity of their electrical system today, Friday, July 29th. This change will occur from approximately 2pm to 5pm, during which power lines are more sensitive, and outages are more likely during this time. If there is an outage, their crews will inspect the local power system before restoring power to ensure no wildfire risk. If you are experiencing a power outage, please contact Avista at 1-800-227-9187 or report online via their website using the short link below. Myavista.com/outages/
