Emotions Dance Academy Is On The Move

Emotions Dance Academy started out on Main Street, by Hometown Animal Hospital in 2006. Now after 12 years and several moves later, Emotions is back on Main; 857 S. Main St. studio C, to be exact.

Nick Santonocito( aka Mr. Nick) shared that he has had to move his studio several times, due to the need for more space. He is very hopeful the current location will meet those expectations and even leave room for future expansion. Mr. Nick has had the new building totally gutted, added new walls, fresh paint and installed dancer-friendly floors. Aside from the 2 large dance rooms, there is also a separate space dedicated for spin classes.

Emotions offers classes from ballet, tap, hip-hop, Zumba, Barre and more. Mr. Nick personally teaches competition level hip-hop, where he takes students to 4 different competitions throughout the year; they travel to Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Seattle and Portland.

Stop by anytime Monday-Thursday, 4pm-8pm for a tour and registration. You may also contact Emotions by calling 509-724-1869 or find them on Facebook @EmotionsDanceAcademy. So, whether you are 9 or 90, it’s a good time to step out and get your groove on, spin your way to fitness, or get your balance back, no holds BARRE-ed.
